What I enjoy doing:
food [whatever, whenever and always], books, buggery, tennis, strong vocabularies, dancing, the outdoors, Wagoneers, pterodactyl noises, women in skirt suits, criticizing magazine covers, art history, expensive hoodies, general buffoonery

Favorite Books:
All Brits from 1761 to before WWII. to be continued.
-
Favorite Movies:
Harold and Maude; anything with big production numbers, Hitchcock, Altman, De Palma, anything with Tippi Hedren.
-
Favorite Music:
Most of the music I like was hip 7 years ago.
-
Favorite TV Shows:
Alias, SitC (may it rest in peace), Grand Slam Tennis Tournis, other HBO programming. Sometimes West Wing. Nigella Lawson is yummy. What Not To Wear is British programming at its finest. Reality TV is verbotten. Well at least boring.

About Me:
Hell-bent on being an NYC writer I somehow got
sidetracked and ended up on Cape Cod, sorta like Tom
Hanks in "Splash" minus the mermaid. He went back to
the city but I remained on this precariously thin sand
spit called Provincetown where I write, work, navigate
the surprises of this quirky seaside village and wonder
if maybe I am a country mouse after all. I don't think so
but in the mean time I like being in a town with more
galleries than franchises, with little crime and fewer
prejudices whose largest fault is a tendecy amongst its
inhabitants to gossip about each other. But even that's
not so bad. Also, as you'll see below, I made a lasting
impression on my prom dates.

Who I Want to Meet:
Boys and girls with curiosity for life, respect for
themselves, a deep seated sense of humor, a resevoir
of kindness, a resistance to judgement, a love affair
with their interests and a healthy appreciation of board
games.

to the prom, and by the way-- which one
was your favorite? I haven't seen you
or spoken to you in many years but I
know you are still REALLY REALLY
awesome and REALLY REALLY cool.

certain nameless young man's arrested
sexual development, he inflicted upon a
young Mr. Thomas a quite unseemly and
untoward infatuation, which was not, as
it turned out, a mutual one, an outcome
predictable enough to those individuals
around them still in possession of
their wits. It was quite a trial for
our Mr. Thomas to be put through, but
he endured, extricated, and acquitted
himself with a tremendous display of
grace and kindnes, such that, to this
day, he and this certain young man can
remain fast friends, even to the point
of, every so often, publicly writing
lovely sentiments about the other
without fear of reproach. A moral
tragedy and a social scandal, averted
by the good grace and moral wit of our
extraordinary, virtuous hero, Mr.
Brenner Thomas! FIN
(Henry James is to be blamed for this,
not me, by the way.)
