This year, someone close to me moved on to a better place. And though I miss her deeply, I know that everything happens for a reason under God's good will.

It still hurts to know that my Lola isn't physically here with me right now, ready to wake me up before school, telling me off for not cleaning my room then cleaning it for me afterwards, telling me to eat now because I'm tired from school or work but I think it's only a matter of time. One day, instead of crying because I miss her so much, I'll laugh at the memories she helped me create.

She wasn't a Lola to me, she was a second mother. Never in my life did I think I would be without her. I always thought she'd be there for the most important events in my life and it saddens me that she isn't here to see me become a better person.

Lola, I just wanted to let you know; sorry - for everything bad I ever did to you, thanks - for everything good you ever did for me and I love you - for loving me for me.
