Kenny looks like an emperor penguin.
Intellectual, urbane and imaginative he still has
that raw arctic circle feel about him. I can
picture Kenny leading an expedition into the
jungle in the 1930s or outstaring a grizzly on
a patch of wild strawberries up in the
mountains.
the last time i saw kenny, he was
sitting in the passenger seat of my car
telling me that he believed that he may
have narcolepsy. i replied by saying
that maybe that was a little bit of an
extreme diagnosis. there was no reply.
kenny had proven himself to be correct
and he was fast asleep in his
dreamland. it made me smile.
