It's been said that my look is "turn of the century bitch". It's also been said that I'm "like a candybar without the wrapper". My mother always likes to say she could have raised 100 of me - I was the easy one.
So some artist said something about how making conceptual art requires that the artist make a plan and stick to it and then whatever comes out doesn't matter so much, because it's all just the result of something outside of itself. I like that, and one could live life that way too, but that might be unhealthy.
Another artist, I believe it was Marcel Duchamp, said "There is no solution because there is no problem" and I saw the quote tattooed on my bosses arm, along his tricep, the pale part on the side with the palm, and I liked that too. I still do.

to worry that shes going to start some kind of

were so cool. I miss Aurora. I
especially miss hearing about the
things she never told anyone, her eyes
that shared mischief and secrets, and
the way she decorates her room with a
whole bunch of funky pictures and arty
duct tape. I also miss getting wine
drunk with her and going to parties
wearing too little clothing. One time,
we met this boy at a party who said
nasty words all the time, and after a
while, Aurora started repeating all his
nasty words to see if he would notice.
Now if you know Aurora, you know she
never swears so I got a big kick out
her saying things like f*ckin sh%tface
hairyb&tt #sshole. Ha Ha! Aurora where
are you?
in love with Aurora, and people are
right. She's beautiful, brilliant and
wonderfully talented, but she never
flaunts anything, so you have to find
out on your own, and when you do you're
always pleasantly surprised. And then
you find out about what she's been
through and you're astounded that she's
turned out so perfectly despite what
she's had to deal with. Whenever I
tell people a story with Aurora in it,
I get sidetracked, saying things
like, "And then Aurora...she's
amazing...god, she's beautiful...I love
Aurora...what was I saying?" Just when
you think Aurora is too nice, she says
something really bitchy and it's
charming. Just when you think a
garment is too ugly to be saved, Aurora
puts it on and it becomes cute. Just
when you think Aurora can't make
decisions for herself, she knows just
what she wants out of life. She's
wholesome yet dirty, self-aware,
together, sweet, and understanding,
except when dealing with fat people.
Man, does she hate fat people.
love her a lot and shes pretty cool. shes
pretty. i had a big early teenage crush on
her, but it never panned out. we dress well
together. we counterbalance the rest of our
friends' lack of flair. shes more school-smart
than i am but i still kick her ass. i like to
tease her about her boyfriend cause it
makes her so upset. i think shes eaten box
at smith unlike amanda and sherry but im
not willing to confirm nor deny any of those
facts. she kisses with a lot of teeth which is
funny cause she has small ones.
just about one of the coolest people i
know. she is the only girl in the world
who can pick up the ugliest thing in a
store and make it look stylish, she
just has something about her that makes
her ooze coolness. although my first
shopping trip with her was a nightmare
because of her indecisivness, she has
since gotten much much better at it an
for that I am thankful. We call her the
stupid, but that is only because we
love her and because she is smart, she
really is so smart...yay Aurora!
