what it was like to hear the ice cream truck when
I was a child. You know that feeling of
excitement when you heard the truck coming
around the corner and up your street? That
anticipation and fresh energy all bubbling up...
And you would clumsily fumble for those quarters
in your pocket and pray that the truck didn't pass
you by. Well, that's our relationship. Amanda is
the ice cream truck, and I am the obese kid who
is clumsily fumbling for the right change/words/
ANYTHING to keep her from passing me by. I've
even thrown quarters at her. She keeps them...
That's kind of sad for both of us. ;-)
Okay, but really, Amanda is absolutely
wonderful. A burst of freesh energy that
completely invigorates and motivates those
around her. She is a welcome change in this
rough and tough city... A fellow Texan who listens
and cares. And, let's not even play around, she
sells great ice cream.
