About Me:
Well... I'm a dork. But not a where's the Mountain Dew, World of Warcraft addicted, 'I cast magic missile at the darkness' kind of dork. I'm more the type that plays D&D with friends he's had for years because it's cheap social entertainment. Or the type that will bring up an obscure philosopher or use an odd phrase because I sometimes forget that other folks might not get the reference. I'm the kind of dork that's writing 2 books very slowly between working full time, going to graduate school full time and attempting to have a social life. The kind of dork that is good at pool and bad at scrabble.
That's me. I'm a dork.

me, this means a lot. There are few
people in this world who combine his
fierceness of spirit and intellect,
with the kind of humor and heart that
he possesses. In short, Patrick is a
wonderfully gifted man, penetratingly
intelligent, and a good friend. I knew
him in Portland for just under a year.
Three years later, I am still proud to
call him my friend.

others. Sort of like drinking a slurpee, then
standing on your head and shoving Pez up your
nose except afterwards you feel classier. I met
Patrick when...wait I shouldn't tell that story in
public. Well we lived together and.....no that story
again shouldn't be repeated in public. Damn. Just
about all the good stories can't be told here. You
should buy me twelve beers and then ask. the
stories are worth it. For two years we supplied
background noise at the Reed College pool hall
while horrifying the weak.
Patrick combines a Death Metal girlfriend with an
appreciation for unicorns, unflinching logic with
voodoo mysticism, and pasta with butter.
Seriously. That, ramen, and potatoes account for at
least fifty percent of his composition. The other
fifty is whiskey and bile.
Patrick is a wonderful guy and a great friend.
Moving across the country didn't keep me from
staying in touch, don't let it happen to you.
