About Me:
Life and basketball, my game, this is me. At age of six and learning the basics of basketball I heartily knew what I want to do... I want to become a basketball player. I grew up idolizing the likes of the great Michael Jordan with his uncanny ability on the hard court and Allan Caidic, with his pistol like hands, the triggerman made his way to my Hall of Fame. I was then a kid who never really wanted to become anyone other than a basketball player. And as my life continued I fulfilled that dream. I am now into a game of Basketball called life.To me "Basketball is not simply a game, its a teacher of life". I have been through tough times, I have been clueless and dazed with wandering thoughts and confusions, I have faced defeat to the brink of giving up. I had my share of happiness, love, content and prosperity, I too have experienced triumph in its most glorious way. I have been through a myriad of wonderful and melancholic events that made me who I am today.
Like basketball, life is my game. I win some and for sure I shall be loosing some. At times I was on the pinnacle of greatness and every so often I find myself on the threshold of defeat. No matter what, I have to accept this cycle. And as the cliche has it, it's not in winning and losing but how you played your game. No matter where things lead me, I cannot give give up and coz i know that I will have what is due to me. As his airness puts it.. " I cannot help but try" true enough in trying and never giving up, no matter so many adversaries he just kept on going. Look where he is now, the greatest icon of his game. I am a ball player. I will be facing defeats, this game will hurt me, injure and break my bones, but I will not give up. I will Play my game, improve and enjoy my craft. I am a ball player and I will succeed. It may take me a while, but I will be great. I am a ball player and will continue to be until the game of life is beyond me....
