good-hearted. He knows how to live. I owe
him thanks for a hundred firsts all those
years ago, for bailing me out on a few
occasions with his superb hacker skills, for
challenging me intellectually and making
me laugh. Get to know him for memories
that just won't quit.
intelligent and funny guy...I am so
glad to have had the chance to get to
know John's friendship and to know what
an incredibly wonderful person he is. :)
*many hugs*
is the HOTTEST of the HOT, he is
(cough) the MEATIEST of the MEAT ...
(ahem.. that didn't sound right, did it
John?) Anyhoo, when the hell do we get
some more of your MEAT, dude?
a very bright fellow with a magpie's
mind: that is, he definite finds
amusing stuff and brings it to other
people's attentions.
we like the same obscure shows that can
only be seen if one has TIVO or digital
cable, and we always have fun
discussing them. John is fun, fun fun!
John was the first kid on his block to
have illegal nanoprocessors hotwired
into his cerebellum in an Akihabara
back-alley. Smarter than the average
bear to begin with, John is now erudite
as fuck. But while others might have
let their brains go to their heads,
John has remained as he always was: a
charming gentleman with a penchant for
bespoke vodkas and late night
ontological theorizing. That he just
happens to now know how to hack root
priviliges on internal CIA servers or
make the lighting and sound systems on
Thunderdome work are novel but
ultimately superficial boons. The true
reward of friendship with JNA is John
himself. QED.
How are your floor mats? Do they still
smell like coffee??
philosophy with him. I miss that stuff.
When he gets excited about an idea the
room gets charged and he glances up at
the ceiling and gives a secret smile.
It makes ideas infectous. God love ya, j.
guide known to man. He will show you
the hot spots, make sure you're well
fed, and help you hail a cab home. All
this, and he'll even make it seem like
*you* are the one that owns the town.
Nice to see ya again, John. I wondered
where you ran off to...
