      • Fish is clearly not of this earth. You can tell by the
control panel on his chest. It's terrifying to know
that aliensparticularly those of the robot variety
live among us. But it's comforting to know that
automotons like Fish are here to uphold
        interstellar law.

Also, a robot that likes cats is always ace in my
mind. And this 'bot, he likes-a the cats-a.

in a moment with a click of the
shutter. He sees and remembers, which
is integral his ability to write the
        social climate, draw humour and
photograph the planet. He skirts the
edge of being a criminal and is loyal
to his friends to the ends of the
        earth.
Why is it we live only 2 blocks apart
and I rarely see him? Some martian time
        slip, alternate reality, fenzy-
        inducing, space-time continuum
distortion? Only time will tell the
        tale.

      • i used to pick up see magazine every
week and carefully cut the comic that
this cat created out, and glue them
        into my silly little scrapbook...one
day, my sister was over for a fleeting
20 minutes or something, and i showed
her mon livre. she laughed and said
that the man behind these strips was
        sitting outside, in dragos' automobile.
he came and shook my hand, and now i
can say that yes, i know fish.

      • Well they say I should approach you
        With caution
But not to let you be aware of my fear
        Never know what you'll find
Don't understand your kind 'round here
        Watching your moves
        They look so radical
        Hearing your words
        They sound fanatical
        Something inside reveals you're magical
        How can I get enough

        You're a strange animal
        That's what I know
        You're a strange animal
        I've got to follow

They've been trying to stick a time
        In your system
        Analysing the defenses you hold
        Trying to open wide
Hoping to step inside your soul
        But everything here is unfamiliar
        Nothing they've seen remotely similar
How can it be you're so peculiar
        How can I get enough

        You're a strange animal
        That's what I know
        You're a strange animal
        I've got to follow

        O Ominous Spiritus!

      • I met Fish in the caves of the
Gateway, a labyrnth of nerdity and
terminal uncoolness. It was here we
        begrudgingly tolerated each other,
then liked, maybe even loved. But not
in that way. Love in the way that we
shared stuff. Like beer, food and
        wanton women. Then we found
ourselves at the mercy of a
        journalism career neither of us
        expected to actually have. People
started taking us seriously, but it was
Fish who was the first to cross into
the great unknown, and he assaulted
every opportunity given to him like a
        blind nymphomaniac at an orgy.
Somehow, he's kept his job, despite
his best efforts to be burned at the
stake, and he's retained his lethal
sense of humour. He still has that
        magic, although the years have
tempered him. He's not as skinny, so
he can't move as fast, you see. We
may not see each other as much, but
we still manage to pick up where we
left off. You can't do that with many
        people.

      • Fish is Chris. Chris is Fish. That
Fish of mine, that Fish of mine, I do
so love that Fish of mine.....
but seriously.....because of him I am
a better person. He is and always
shall be my son! He was the darned
cutest kid in the world. He loves Star
Wars and Garfield and cats and me.
His artistic talents inspire me with
awe. And, he wrote the best letter
ever to my Mom when she was dying.
        I love you B....you know....
