I have been a Chapel Hill institution since the spring of 1997. I took over a cursed basement spot that seemed doomed to failure, but thanks to all of my great employees and outstanding members, I managed to become the best watering hole in this town. I am a dive and proud of it, but my bartenders will still provide you with excellent drinks and service. I welcome all types of drinkers into my smoky midst. And now that the Chapel Hill Town Council is off of my back, I'm already planning to share the drunken love for many more years to come....
