but it's the little ones that keep it

i guess i picked it up from him

making them shockingly approprie to my life
she says she feels bad about it
but laughs whenever she sees it

they are 10 and 12
call me Marquitos
and are always on my side
unless they're not
(which is arbitrary - they're girls)
and when they get tired
they curl up next to me and say i love you
and that right there
is the single most incredible feeling in the universe
