I was born on Christmas Eve. I'm really tight with my family. They live in town so I see them a lot. I love it. They're why i stay in LA. I'm a second generation LA native. But Encino could have been the suburbs anywhere -- aside from Michael Jackson and the Sherman Oaks Galleria I played little league and soccer and hated it. Wanted to be home watching The Superfriends and That's Cat. I became entranced by Rocky Horror and The Hunger at a very early age. Disappointed when i realized my mom didn't own any fishnets. MOOOM! Loved Poltergiest and Alien as a kid. Always had to see event movies opening night in a big theater in Westwood or Hollywood. Exposed to all kinds of films on the Z Channel which I watched day and night. I subscribed to Fangoria magazine and Starlog. My first concert was the Go-Go's Vacation Tour at the Hollywood Bowl. My mom only packed me a sandwich and an apple for lunch at Pinecrest elementary school so I was jonesing for powdered tang and ding dongs. But no one would trade with me. I was in a relationship all of my twenties and i still have our dog Monkey. And his brother Sid. Long lost cousins of Gizmo and the cast of Fraggle Rock.
