I'm a reluctant "professional" who dreams of having the ultimate freedom in life to grow a home but also have a big life full of big adventures to far off lands and wide open seas. I started writing music a couple of years ago and I play the guitar intensely. I'm now learning to play keyboard and really round out my passion for music. I spend lots of days digging my hands into the earth around my house, planting and nurturing plants and flowers and shaping the land into my own special creation. I have a life of abundance in every way possible. Having been through less-than-ideal times in recent years, I try never to take one minute for granted and to count my many blessings: health, family, friends, animals, art, abundance... I look more and more for loyalty and honesty in my friends and am learning the value of walls to put up and walls to take down. Flowers are everywhere in my house and in my garden. I suppose you could say if you want a beautiful life part of the equation is surrounding yourself with beauty. My friends, family, pets (Keo the chocolate lab, Gunner the Abby Cat, Cooper the Bengal), home, and community are all part of that equation. I am blessed in having the skills that I have to make things happen and am blessed to have a great group of friends to support me in whatever crazy ideas I have (this week). I want to write but lack the intense disclipine to take on the big projects I know I want to do. I often watch too much TV and don't read quite enough, but that's shifting slowly as the balance in my life becomes more equalized. I've kayaked with humpbacks in Alaska and sailed the Pacific, the Caribbean, and through the Panama Canal. I would love to sail around the world someday (but I have a few other things to do first). I'm a likeable, slightly flawed, gregarious, oftentimes schizophrenic gemini who stays busy all of the time. I want to relax, but sometimes have to be forced to. I keep dreaming of a bigger and bigger life...

I want fun, honest, loyal, dependable friends. I want friends who can let loose on the dance floor but have a real life and real thoughts outside of the scene. I want meaningful relationships that take years to develop and a lifetime to nurture.

I want to meet men who are my equals intellectually, physically, and spiritually, and who take responsibility for their own stuff. I long to meet guys who will put themselves out there and show themselves fully without fear of being shot down.

I want to meet others who realize that they can shape their life in any way they want rather than take the off-the-shelf version of life society gave them. I like people who can laugh, or smile, or laugh at themselves, but who also consider themselves a contender. That great mix of humility and confidence can do wonders for how attractive you can be! Honest, open, trustworthy, fun, thoughtful, intuitive, spontaneous, creative...mix and match these qualities to make yourself a great friend.
