Yo man, I've been feenin' for more of those Ginseng Root blogs you been sendin out...
As well as your fabulous man meat...
(on second thought, I'll leave all that for Shaun cuz he's into that kind of weird shit)
We will take over the media, my man, and I don't mean directing weird gay cowboy flicks!
Steve is the man with the master plan!
He knows everything about videos as he
is other ex-blockbuster man. He can
bench more than me so ladies if you
want a strong man go talk to him.
I met Steve back in high school when I
was putting my books in my locker and
he noticed I had a picture of Bruce Lee
on my binder. Steve introduced me to
Hong Kong cinema beyond just the legend
Bruce. He showed me old movies by
Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Chow Yun Fat...the
great ones. We were inspired to make
our own movies. I still remember the
first time he tried swinging some
nunchucks around. I've never heard so
much hard plastic hitting flesh and
bone sounds. Heh, just kidding! In all
our movies, Steve brings the real
martial arts skills. The rest of us
are just out there trying to make it
look good. Steve has an intensity that
he can turn on like a light switch, but
then when it's off, he is the nicest
and most easy going guy you will ever
meet, always offering to help if he can
and very patient and accepting of you
as you are. When it comes to our
collaborations in movies, well "it is
like a finger pointing away to the
moon". I'm always concentrating on the
finger and thinking about what we have
the ability to do, but Steve always
strives for the moon, which pushes us
to new levels all the time. Without
Steve I'm sure I would miss "all the
heavenly glory".
Steve is dope... I've known tha
brother since like 7th grade or
something. We used to go to the same
Shotokan Karate school, and spent a
lot of time trying to put together
action movie fight scenes and
generally just beating the living hell
out of each other. Steve and I founded
the infamous and deadly Black Dragon
Gang in Northern California, along
with some dude named Nguyen Tsui. We
also used to write some songs
(including the seminal classic, "Bad
Gene Pool"), and bust some freestyle
rap sessions, over Method Man's beats.
Steve was the first person to
introduce me to Hong Kong action films
(very good!) as well as Jackie Chan's
music CD (very bad!). Steve's major
weakness is fried chicken, in any way,
shape, or form. Back in the day, we
spent a lot of time chillin' at
Popeye's chicken in East Oakland. When
the health inspector threatened to
shut down the all-you-can-eat KFC,
Steve threatened to ice him by
drowning him in a barrel of restaurant
grease. As far as I know, that KFC is
still open to this day!
Steve is one hip dude. I met this guy
back in our freshman year in college.
We were both fans of Bruce Lee, action
movies, and martial arts. He's a good
friend that always there when you need
someone to talk to.
And to the ladies... this guy is
talented. He's an artist, karate
expert, and a movie star!
Subject to Steve's approval, eh? Well, we first
met when we shared a suite with this strange
Russian dude during summer advising back in
the day. I have to admit, I was like: Man, this
guy can kick my ass!! Honestly, after getting
to know him better, Steve's one kool kat who
has a talent for the arts. Now all he needs is a
pahtna in crime. Bonnie and Clyde Style!!!
Now, is that good enough testimonial for ya???
