it's a strange phenomenon where you wake up and realize that for a long time, you'd been going through life in neutral, as if entranced. and you don't remember which route you chose in your recent past that lead you to where you found yourself when you came to.

that's about the time i met kevin. and, no matter where he and i found ourselves, we were having a good time. alright, so he's not my ideal amazing race partner - but it's fun to watch the show with him, at least i can give him that.

i know that people too often look at the world from their own perspective, but in this case, i just can't help but do it. over the past year and a half, kevin has shielded me from lows and exposed me to new highs. we all need people that can help us to be happy. for all he's done for me, i've only got one thing to say to him: "thank you, kevin".

no, wait, one other thing: "why are you suddenly too good to call me? punk".

What nice things can't you say about this man? He is sweet, adorable, sexy, fun and has a voice that would make anyone swoon. I am lucky to count Kevin among my closest of friends and miss him so much since he departed our fair city. At least I have a place to stay in New York City!
