I accidentally started my career as a performer at the tender age of 18. I followed my eldest brother to his band practise one night. It happened to be his vocalist did not turn up for the session so the band asked me whether I can sing for them to guide the practise session. So, there was I, with no idea what the future had in store for me, sang for the band that very night. Guess what? The band loved the way I sing and offered to recruit me as a singer for the band. From that day on, I'm a singer baby! I have done a lot of shows and gigs for the past 16 years. From wedding functions to club gigs, concerts and tours, backing bands for artists, you name it pal! I also have had the chance to performed with a band from USA called "Black Elvis" playing Blues and Funk for some time during those days.My experience also ranged to album producing, events and artist management.In 2004, at a music camp, I met a young musician, Aiman which happen to be a saxophonist and we formed a band named "fieldplayers". With this band, my career as a singer performer really boosted up. I finally have a chance to do my stuff that is singing original compositions, making new arrangements, writing my own lyrics but above all, making your very own music. And it really is a blessing to do all those stuff. Hopefully, I will really make it with "fieldplayers" and I need all of your support for it.

My acting career dated back during my secondary school. When I was 13, I written, directed and acted in a school play. The following year in 1988, I did the same roles for another play in a competition and won 2nd place. Again the following year when I was 15 I won 2nd place again. After school days, I did a lot of street theatres and experimental theatres(non-profitable activities by the way ha ha ha) to expand my acting skill. Until now I am still doing some acting in theatres, short films, sitcom,feature films and also some coaching for acting on call basis. Some of my achievement was; 3rd placing in Kuala Lumpur Theatre Festival 2004, playing the role of an old man for a play called "Awal Dan Mira by Lutuy Tantang Sontani", an Indonesian script. Playing the role of Luka The Butler for a play called "The Bear by Anton Chekov or Orang Kasar in Malay" in 2005. The role as Abu the blindman in a sitcom called "Bookman Shop" in 2005, lead role as Pak Pandir in a short film for Radio Television Malaysia (RTM)in 2006 and a historical biography role as Ahmad Boestamam in a feature film titled "1957-Hati Malaya" in 2007, a film depicted by a true pre-independence period in Malaysia's history.

Emcee-ing and writing in my portfolio came just as natural as everything else in my life and it grew along side my other virtues in arts. You may describe it as "I was born with it". Since 2007, I have been appointed by the Government Of Malaysia through The National Department of Culture and Arts as The National Arts And Culture Coach and have been sent to teach in schools, colleges, universities, wherever my service is needed including teaching "special kids" and I am really proud of doing it.

Other thing about me...hmm let me see...yep! I'm funny,easy going,self-motivated and appreciates arts and music.hoping to lead a balance life through long life learning and you'll find me interesting..hak..hak..hak! I enjoy friendship and there are 3 things that i really love in this life....my family, fieldplayers, and still searching for number 3....hopefully one day it will come to be..God Willing and God Speed
