I can't even begin to express how
blessed I feel that this guy has
come into my life-there are many
words, but happy, huggy, silly,
serious, dedicated, spirit, smiles-
always smiles-amazing friend.
people show up in your life when
they're supposed to and alex is one
great example of that
if i don't ever get to tell you enough:
thank you, m' dear. thank you.
Alex...where should I begin? Let's
start with REALNESS--this guy is a
genuine Person, with true Humanity in
his heart and Kindness in his soul. It
is such a rare thing to find in this
day and age... maybe in any day and
age. What's more, his intellect is
mind-blowing, his laugh infectious, his
passion inspiring, and his dance-moves
saucy! Homeboy can groove! He has been
so blessed by the Divine--as we say in
Farsi, Mashallah! And he is always
Teaching me things, even when he
doesn't know it: about kindness, about
appreciating people, about facilitating
discussions... A few months back, I
busted out one of the techniques he
taught me, and it was perfect! (Alex, I
wish you could've been there to see
it.)
I see him striving for Change, for
things that will make people's lives
better, both on the local and the
global scale. You inspire me Alex!
When you're not around, I truly miss
your presence. ***** I have much Love
and Respect for this guy.
what's not to love? super-business-
meeting-friends! Who else is so
engaged in being progressive in the UU
community? They'd have to care a whole
f*kin lot -let the proof be in
comparing their hugging skillz to
Alex's!!
alex is like a buddha . . . emanating some
core wisdom and understanding that seems
to elude most of the world . . . alex =
generous, alex = kind, alex = thoughtful. and
he's up for playing football and frisbee at the
same time, which can't be beat.
This man is a pillar of light and
truth. He never ceases to amaze me
with a heart that seems open to help
the world.
And all this while being lovely and
human. I await the day I am able to
hug him in person with a great smile,
for the lessons I have learned from
him already enrich me.
alex is lots of fun to visit with! he
buys his friends vibrators for their
birthdays, what a great friend! he
also makes you think, and not just
about vibrators! singularly amazing.
wraps words into ribbons of brilliant
weaving...hmmm....makes me think,
really think, way outside the box about
who I am, what is important to me and
howI can relate to others.
