About Me:
44 German families from Ixonia and Watertown, Wisconsin,
arrived at the junction of the Elkhorn and North Fork
valleys on July 17, 1866 they found the land to be rich
and attractive. These settlers along with other settlers
from Wisconsin and some from New England, joined together
and established a grist mill. This grist mill was operated
with water power, water from the North Fork River. A mill
store soon opened and this structure became the location
of the new and growing town...me, Norfolk.

i went up to norfolk to get some
shopping done, go to divot's for some
golf, stop at king's for some bowling
or a movie, eat at the double k on a
first date ... i could go on and on.
hell, i even had performed a solo on
the johnny carson theater stage. that's
right! i wouldn't be who i am today
without you norfolk. mmmmmmmwwwwwwwaahh
good times.
