Testimonials and Comments for Kyle
screechy, how-ironic-am-I way. Kyle
effortlessly blends sweet, considerate
unselfishness with a truly warped, at
times, demonic sense of humor. He
mixes ass-whuppin' cocktails and New
Wave compilation CD's with equal
aplomb. He is absolutely loyal to his
friends and one of the best people you
could ever hope to travel with. And
now that he is in the terrific
relationship he so richly deserves, the
time I get to spend with him is even
more precious. Kyle's brainy positive
attitiude has gotten me through some
horrendous times. We have shared,
appreciated and consumed SO many great
things TOGETHER: Pet Shop Boys, oven
burritos, Margot's Bush, Celine Dion's
cruelly snatched cherry, Puppetry,
Strawberry Switchblade b-sides,
morbidly obese theme park guests,
Curious Kevin, "WAITING FOR GUFFMAN--
THE UNSEEN CUT", our wife at Cobalt
Cantina back when a chicken club
sandwich and unlimited free brunch
champagne MEANT something... If I was
a Japanese girl who needed a green
card, he's the one I'd beg my indulgent-
but-emotionally-unavailable-
chainsmoking-secretly-tranny-chasing-
millionaire father to bribe to marry me.
snatch up the most obscure 12" dance
mixes. Hundreds, ultimately thousands,
of 'em. How often do we listen to them
now? Uh. Ebay, anyone? Mr. Kyle's
insight and memory have been both my
joy and my undoing at times. His
regular doses of civilization (esp. his
mixes) mean more to me than chocolate.
XXOO
how do i love kyle? let me count the
ways...he's very very sweet, smart,
fun, clever, and a total pussycat (in
a good way). i highly recommend him. i
totally dig kyle! and, can i just tell
you? he makes a mean 80s remix CD.
kudos!!!!!!!
first people to recognize my then-
budding Hello Kitty fetish. He's now
happily married but has not become an
old lady, thank God: he knows design,
he knows travel, he knows *everything*
about obscure '80s music but most
importantly, he knows how to have fun
and enjoy life... which is why I'm so
proud to call him my friend.
