we haven't spent time together in a
bit cuz I am no longer in NY, but we
did spend a gallery day last year in
which he was the perfect witty,
critical, smart companion
unique and respected. I always miss Shayne
when he's not somewhere and I am. A loyal
and trusted friend, that Shayne. I'd like my
ashes tossed over him when I die (if that's
okay with him, of course.)

presence in the room. I met him at grad
school. We would curl up together on
whatever surfaces were available, I
trusted him so much. Shayne tells great
stories, he has an eye for the perverse
and the funny, he is an excellent cook.

what the fuck? i used to think he was
a ghost, then one time we ate
mushrooms at work during friday
lunch and were paging each other in

system, and no one else knew what
the fuck we were talking about and
we were laughing our asses off, and
i was like "ghosts don't trip. i see
trails, dude!"
