that happened that night, it wasn't
Reverend Run bumping into me and
shaking my hand on the way out of the
bathroom at the Mustang Party earlier,
it wasn't Patti Smith describing Herman
Hesse's typewriter in one of her photos
that evening, no it had to be running
into Aisha after twelve years, hanging
out on a bench at two in the morning in
the East Village that made that day. I
mean really, I never go to Manhattan....
she kicked me out of her bed.
always extremely competent and
pleasant. But I just heard some news
from a mutual friend that cheered me
up... and it's all because of Aisha.
That's why I'm leaving her this
cryptic testimonial.
