dinner with a friend, have good food, couple of drinks and

to do is watch horribly awesome movies, drink wine and
laugh at everything possible 'til I'm blue in the face. Oh,

Who I Want to Meet:
Someone who likes to be a jackass...Someone who will laugh
loud and obnoxiously with me about something really
ridiculous and probably stupid. Also, I'd like to meet

no longer a child robot. :) (or maybe she still is)...

time, I found myself safely nuzzled in
th'refuge of my little blue Jetta,
windows tightly rolled up, a flimsy
attempt at insulation from the mid-
winter deep freeze that had our little
Manhattan metropolis doing its best
rendition of a well-shaken snowglobe.
Locked in my automotive
motelforthenight, just outside th'door
of Bar X (we'll call it) from which I'd
been recently escorted (seems my legs
weren't in the cooperative mood -
preferred to collapse on sordid
boozeslicked floor) I achieved a kind
of slumber/stupor there in my
Volkswagon's driver's deat, motor
killed (I'd probably lost the keys for
all I knew). Perhaps it was 3 A.M.,
maybe 4, 2(?) (as if I were lucid
enough to know/care), a gentle
taptaptapknockknock regestered on my
frost-caked driver-side window. Julie,
my savior in the night, had held
somewhat of a vigil, making sure I was
ok in my improvised asylum. She didn't
know who I was, only some fu**ed up
pixie headed chick who'd gone waaaaaaay
beyond her limit. I was quick to
unlatch the door and make room (clear
miscellaneous build-up) on th'passenger
seat for her where she proceeded to
accompany my slowbutsteady recovery
from a debauched night of overdoingit-
to-point-of-sickness. I was still too
out of it to notice the cold, but she
resiliently, compassionately,
angelically, withstood it, there in the
other seat, protecting me, making sure
I made it through the night. *** Of
course, I wasn't too out of it to ask
this pretty chick with an utmost tender
heart...if I might kiss her. We stayed
warm until dawn while the snow forgot
itself.
