signed up for some dumbass reason. I
mean, that's really the only reason I
ever have for doing anything I do, but
it got me thinking about how it's
basically the same thing as friendster,
and it made me wonder why we even bother
recollecting all these people we never
talk to over and over again?
Anyway, so I was thinking about Gail.
For about two years during and after
high school, I worked at Toys R Us.
There was this woman there named Gail.
She was about forty, looked and talked
like a chicken, and was constantly
pregnant. She must have had 80 kids.
One time, she told everybody in the
break room about how she'd had sex on
her high school's football field and I
guess that was a big deal for her, or
what passed for romance in her life.
Anyway, she bothered me. White trash
does.
I moved away from Seattle, but some
things are better there, and I think
about them all the time: their trees,
their water, and their Gail. Thanks,
chief.
that is quite difficult to get us to confess...let's
just say it involves something with that
mothman movie.....
gail got to get away early--in high school..i
was pretty fucking jealous.
we don't keep in touch--i find this quite odd.
i went to gail's birthday party (or was it's
chrissy's) when i was a wee one...her dad
did a magic show and i said that i didn't
believe in magic....i still don't.
it's nice to know there's more than one brain
that developed in our hometown....
oh, and by the way, i'll be home over
thanksgiving...
either David Bowie or small primates,
contact this young lady. Doing so
shall be your own reward.
