Who I Want to Meet:
You could say I'm always keeping my eye out for a certain indescribable type of person -- you know them when you meet them. The truth, though, is that this kind of person is found all around us, in us, and in everyone we meet. So I want to meet myself, my friends, and everyone else. And Roz Chast. And Claude Lanzmann.

Testimonials and Comments for Jack
smile. :D
brother's off to new adventures and
I'm so happy for him I think I'll fly
out there and congratulate him. You a
friggin rock star.
all SUCKERS. Just because there was
only one princess and 5,000 playmobil
dudes. You bastards.
put up with my shit for years. I love
him. GRRRR- tiger!!
true. His words are kind, his heart is
fer real and the boy knows how to make
a mean latka. It also doesn't hurt
that Jack is ALWAYS there for his
friends and family, rain or shine OR
that he has superb taste in -- well,
everything.
when I was only three years old. His
cat gave birth to my cat. Our Moms are
best friends. We have the same initials
and even the same last name! It might
seem like Jack and I are almost the
same person.
Yet, I realize that I haven't said
anything about Jack's qualities or my
feelings about him because, as it turns
out, I don't really know Jack that
well. Sure we used to play playmobile
together under the direction of my
tyrannical older brother and sure we
may sometimes accidentally call
eachother cousin but that's all old
stuff.
Anyway, Jack and I live in the same
city now so we could get to know
eachother again.
That is if I ever call him.
even though you'll never get him to
admit it. He also taught me to smoke
cigarettes, something he regretted
instantly. Jack is my own personal
enyclopedia on EVERYTHING. I don't mean
Encyclopedia Brown. I mean on music,
history, my own memories, decoration,
interpersonal communications, and
standard English writing rules. I
called him Idol in my high school
yearbook and he was schocked. But where
would I be if he didn't bring me the
Beatles at age 10? A scary, scary
thought.
