I'm a working actor/musician in Chicago who is trying to get by without going back to a day job. I had an office job for awhile after college, but then I had brain surgery to remove a tumor (that's another story) and I decided that we only go around this crazy carousel once, so I might as well go after my dreams. So, right now I'm in a couple plays, I do some comedy, and I have a band, James and the Vanderbeeks - www.jamesandthevanderbeeks.com
I'd say I'm fun to be around, try to avoid drama even though it seems to find me (see: Brain Surgery), and overall just like to laugh and live it up. My family reigns supreme in my life - they make me a better person.

Of all of them, he's #1. He wears
