Most anything written by Umberto Eco, Neil Gaiman, Susanna Clarke and Charles Bukowski, “The Illuminatus Trilogy” by Robert Shea and Robert Wilson, the fantasy fun of CS Lewis, JK Rowling and JRR Tolkien, the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, “Me talk Pretty One Day” by David Sedaris (the chapters on learning French are possibly the funniest things I have ever read), as well as things I am sure I have forgotten.
