without Jeff (Chate to his friends)? I
don't think there would be much of one.
Most of us wouldn't know who the hell
James Hall or Sparklehorse were. Jeff
is one of the most diverse music lovers
I know. If it's good, he likes it and
is turning everyone on to it. Almost
like a new music prophet, spreading the
gospel one listener at a time.
anyone out there wants add us, the
email's dallasmavericks08@yahoo.com.
Add us if your a big fan of the Dallas
Mavericks!
had a dj booth upstairs...if you were a
short, white kid w/ dreadlocks, jeff
would always allow you a better view
from that balcony...you could request
pavement, or ride, or flaming lips and
jeff was always one step ahead of you:
"dude, i JUST played that song RIGHT
before you walked in...otherwise, i'd
play it..."
now. He is the one guy you into all
over town even when he isn't living
there. Always creative, always has a
project going on. Never spreads
himself thin with BS though. Pretty
focused and motivated guy here folks.
I must add the guy knows his stuff,
been around the scene even before it
was called one.
shoot in Bakersfield (never go there)
Jeff put us up at his place in LA. I
had a bath, an adovada burrito and
watched the Grammys (two out of
three).
You've got to be crazy to produce a
documentary and I'm glad cause I
feel a lot more like I do now than
when I first got there.
Thanks.
a teller of great stories and every
word is his....every word is true.
i look forward to learning new things
about this talented man...and thanks to
Bill for the match suggestion.....
