Take one typical Texas boy; add equal parts earnestness, edge, literature, and cinephilia; and then accidentally drop it all on the floor but pick it up before anyone notices. You'd pretty much get me. I think I bring some good qualities to the table--e.g., intelligence, wit, honesty, kindness, loyalty, empathy, an openness to life, and dependability. I don't take the easy way out, even when not doing so costs me. I know the lyrics to "Muskrat Love" AND "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp." And I'm not a sap with no edge. (I'm a sap *with* edge.) I'm eager to meet like-minded people with a real interest in life and what this city has to offer--people who aren't afraid to try new things, to look a little silly, to laugh and to be serious and to be open to a genuine friendship.
