anything with pictures, anything by richard ford (most particularly independence day), i love true crime too, so i'll read anything by vincent bugliosi, april 1865 was an amazing read, so was in the heart of the sea (watch out for the cannibalism)

become friends with simply because she
was too cool to bitch about. Damn
that's a compliment.
smart as a Siamese cat. She slips in
silently and watches the action, speaks
few words, and then leaves by the fire
escape. First you think she's
mysterious, and aren't sure whether she
even likes you. Then she calls you
friend and your heart leaps -it's one
of the biggest compliments I've ever
gotten - and the warm, silly, cozy
kitty comes out to play. And it's all
good from there. It's all great from
there.
me smile, lots. she has one of the most
contagious, joyful laughs ever. she's
the first person i want to hang out
with over the weekend, mostly because
she's thoughtful and playful at the
same time. she kicks ass.
