i once worked in a bookstore during grad school and went broke squandering all my earnings on books, but these days, i like to read Vanity Fair.

i was weened on the old-fashioned romantic comedies, but i do love a good teen flick. big fan of cameron crowe and pedro almodovar, and i'll see anything touched by tina fey.

all the usual suspects one might expect of someone in my demographic, minus a couple of indigo girls, plus a few accordians (astor piazzola, gotan project). lately i've been listening to sparklehorse and miles davis.

Favorite TV Shows:
my friend the art historian wrote down "joan of arcadia" and i wrote "i've seen that show a couple times and secretly like it too" then she was like "actually, i've never seen it, i just wrote that for ironic value" and then i was all, "oh yeah... me too." And now i just pray for a swift merciful death.

about the only person who is not
bothered by my silence and who will
never say, "So, why are you so quiet?
Say something!" I am always drawn to
brilliant and entertaining women who
always seem to have something to say for
each particular moment and actually do
say it. Alice is as good as it gets. :o)
