Originating as a live group of electronic music in 1997 in Bandung, Iman is the founder of the band. Influenced by both rock based music and traditional music such as Kecak, Electrofux uses a compact desk of sequencers, samplers and drum machines.

Press : "Last Friday 11 June the entertainment was a little more underground featuring Bandungs answer to The Chemical Brothers, Electrofux and Rock n Roll Mafia.The latter warmed things up with some bottom-heavy industrial breakbeats before Electrofux came on and surprised everyone with some kick-drum hard house abstraction."
