      • Hollie kicks ass. She can cook, skateboard,
        hackeysack, model, paint, write, discuss
        African tribal religions, stand on her head, and
        do the splits. All at the same time. In fact, the
        only thing that Hollie can't do is Calculus, and
        really, who needs it?

        smack you, or call you out. Or make
        you accountable for yourself...she's
        also fun on trips. And she's cute...

      • i was flipping through a book of
        photos from like 1998, way back when,
        and i discovered that i have a picture
        of brian (mrs. burwell!) right on top
        of a picture of me and hollie at
        jubilee jam! then, 55 years later,
        these two meet, get married, and
        become the cutest damn couple jackson
        ever did see. i think it was a sign.
        hollie was a senior at murrah when i
        was a wee freshman, and i always
        thought she was soooo cool.

      • Ummmm...ok so this is so easy for me to
        write because there are so many
        wonderful things about you. And I love
        you so so much. You're the kinda gal
        that can be close to anyone and make
        anyone comfertable enough to be close
        to you. I love that about you..because
        I know you would do anything for anyone
        you loved. And that's a lot of
        people. I'm suprised there's enough of
        you to go around. I am so happy you
        found you're soulmate. I should listen
        to you more often and on top of all

      • Oh Lordy. Ed remembers our homemade
        saunas and late night naked escapades,
        but I remember raiding yards in
        Belhaven of their azaleas, stealing
        Pike brothers cars and filling them to
        the rim with the flowery goods,
        redepositing the car and walking away
        with two silly grins on our faces. oh
        the days of the golden trinity are
        forever engraved in my heart. its me
        and you to the end and beyond.

        year...but it seems like 50...hollie
        has made my world such a different
        place filled with goodness, laughs and
        wonderful times. you gotta be
        careful...she will throw you out of a
        canoe in a heart beat...laughing while
        your beer just floats on down the
        river. i am honored to be one of her
        bridemaids...and even more blessed to
        have her as a friend. love you!
