      • only this man can turn hand-relief from a
young girl into a cultural revolution. you
go to hell, children of the repressive
hypothesis- you go to hell and you die.

point which seems fundamental to me:
neither ideology nor repression - for
        example the statements [enonces] or
        rather enunciations which have nothing
        to do with ideology. Desiring-
assemblages have nothing to do with
        repression. But evidently, in relation
to the system of power, I don't have
        Michel's firmness, I fall into
        vagueness, given the ambiguous status
that they have for me: in Surveiller et
Punir, Michel says that they normalise
and discipline; I would say that they
        code and reterritorialise (I suppose
that there again there is more than a
difference in wording). But given my
primacy of desire over power, or the
secondary character that the systems of
power have for me, their operations
still have a repressive effect, since
they crush, not desire as a natural
given, but the points of desiring-
        assemblages.

      • Me and Michel go way back, nah'msayin?
When we first met, it was over a spat
        concerning truth politics and that
type 'o shizzle. But these days we
        can just chill, politickin about
        racism's polyvalent mobility, not to
mention the movement of forms of
        discipline from institution to
institution! Yo, my man, when we
        gonna tag team the Enlightenment?
        Holla!
