No idea. The worst judge of our own character is ourselves, so in a sense, the only thing you can be sure of is that whatever I write here isn't who I really am, but who I think I am or would like to be. Concretely, I can say I'm a 4th generation Japanese American who grew up in southern California -- went to UCLA, graduated with a degree in psychology, relocated to Kahului, Hawaii (on Maui) in 2004, and am still trying to figure out where my path in life will lead me. For now, it's led me to a single life directing the Prevention & Education Department at the Maui AIDS Foundation. I also enjoy playing, learning, and teaching taiko.
