Emily is awesome. She has a spirit
that can't be diminished. Her
personality is infectious. When you're
around her, she makes you feel good.
When she's away, you want to go and
find her. You are fun. You go girl.
Emily is my bestest, bestest friend.
We were fated since birth to walk
through this life together and i
couldn't be luckier. She is one of the
most beautiful people i know, inside
and out with a strength the surpasses
Atlas holding up the earth. SHe is
smart, sassy, funny, kind, loving and
all those other yummy things that you
wish every person could be. To me
people just don't get any better than
Emily. I love you!!!
Emily lives in california now, which
sucks for me and wendy, but is good for
her.
I first met Emily when we were in
school at UMass Amherst. She lived in
Brooks ... or was it Brett ... I
forget. Anyhow, when she was living on
Bridge Street (two-ish years later) in
Amherst (next to railroad tracks, and
an early morning train), I was living
with these "humans" in Belchertown and
doing not-so-much to be all that
thrilled with. It sucked, a lot. Emily
knew that I was unhappy with
everything, and she invited me to visit
(I worked in Amherst anyways, and had
been taking a couple of Continuing
Education courses during the semester),
there was much snow on the ground and
it was Christmas break. Emily and I
hung out quite a bit then and she let
me stay on her couch for a while,
allowing me to take some time and
figure things out. I doubt that I would
have finished school, or even moved out
of that unproductive and unpleasant
period in my life, had Emily not helped
me out. That was almost six years ago.
So I'd like to thank her officially
because I don't think that I ever did
(and it's about time, eh?).
Incidentally, Wendy also lived in that
house on Bridge Street, but during the
time that I was there, she was
somewhere else (Israel, I think).
too, but i smile more when i can see
you.
