born and bred in the suburbs of LA, i'm in constant
identity crisis. during grade school, i thought i was
livin in the 60s as i watched gidget and cried when i saw
the monkees' reunion tour and realized mike nesmith was 50
years old. high school, was a wannabe art student and goth
and listened to hip hop and theatre kid and got drunk and
high on coffee and glue at any chance. was obsessed with janis joplin, anais nin, and the mentally unstable. college was pure identity
politics, lots of sex, drugs, some rock & roll and bad
relationships and a new language of emotions (did i
mention the drugs?). now, i feel like i've mellowed out,
realized that i'm a child of the world, still like to be
in an alternative time/space continuum, and love
travelling, conceptual art, and high theory that has
passion along with my continued love for thrift stores, po
dunk towns, organic food, various types of cheeses,
drinking, and heartfelt fiction, music, and movies.
