About Me:
I spend most of my time working on an online system to facilitate grassroots activism which I have been working on for more than three years (full-time, without pay). I'm dedicated to grassroots radical social change.
On the one hand, I spend most of my time in front of a computer. But on the other hand, I'm also liable to bike forty miles, hitch-hike 2000 miles, hop a train, or try to convince you to go as far north as possible to see an aurora.
(Note: everyone on social networking likes to appear more exciting than they actually are.)
I am honest, critical, passionate about social change, independent, slightly adventurous, intellectual, and when all else fails I try to be funny.
I'm quite shy and might seem to be really focussed on whatever I'm doing at the moment or that i'm ignoring you. But if you get to know me you might be surprised at how very nice I am.
I respond to random emails and friendster messages - I like avoiding work.
Latest cooking experiment: dumplings! So long as you put 50% vege-chicken-ham in them, you cannot miss. Brushed with oil. 400 degrees in the oven. Other possible ingredients: pan fried corn, cabbage, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, botchoi, mushrooms, peas, cayenne, etc.
I wrote a tool that lets you convert RSS/XML feeds into images. Then you can include them in your MySpace page. Thus you can include headlines from your blog.
