Phil is the epitome of what it means to
be multifaceted and multitalented.
Back in high school, he was basically
the only Hong Kong native I knew that
spoke in a fairly polished *American*
accent. Not only that, but Phil is in
the running of also being the only Hong
Kong native in existence that can watch
and understand all of the jokes and
innuendos on American sitcoms :)
When he is feeling down, Phil locks
himself up with his piano, then dashes
and dances across the keyboard like
there is no tomorrow (or as legend would
have it). Go Phil!
Legend also has it that this guy went
from technophone to computer genious in
just 2 weeks, pursuing it as a side
hobby. He basically went from Windows
9x/ME straight to recompiling Linux
kernels. Dude, I work in the field and
it took me 4 years to do the same, and
with his help at that :P . Sheesh. Some
people....
Thanks Phil for being a true friend over
the years. Do visit the Bay Area again
sometime! :))
school, through being classmates,
teamamtes, and my partner in the
talent quest.
He's a really nice guy with a world of
musical talent, funny thing, probably
thats why he's doing
Computer...keyboards (he probably gets
turned on j/k).
As a friend, he's always willing to
help and most importantly, he'd be
there! The great number of times we'd
skip class to discuss about debates
really shows the naughty side of him
(so all u ladies pay attention to this
part!!).
Like I said about his musical talents,
I was competing in the Talent Quest
that year (1998?)I entered with the
song 'Candle in the Wind' and made it
to the finals. Phil was super, lunch
time in the music room practicing. I
treasure those moments.
Though the song may be candle in the
wind, but surely, Phil is a 'beacon'
in the gale!!
