[ I'm interested in the study of how images and
sounds lull us into distraction. We do it to ourselves; we
add more and more distance between us and waking
life everyday. We live in the Age of the Spectacle. We
read celebrity tabloids, play video games, drink
starbucks, shop; all while losing sight of whats really
going on around us. We drift further from our own
humanity to become cogs in a sputtering machine. The
more you learn and the more you witness and the more
you think you know, the more you are distracted from
taking action. The more time you waste endlessly
accumulating information about injustices rather than
acting on what you've already learned, the more you let
them win. This so-called "Information Age" is really just
the ushering in of the "Age of Passivity". So sit back, its

can't step to some of Shanon's earlier

that they put me in their next movie.
The kid has talent/vision and an eye
for really good actors/actresses. In a
world filled with so many pretentious
film students trying to rebel against
their rich parents comes Shannon with
something to say in his film without
forcing it down your throat. His movie
that I saw made me feel beyond just
some sort of intellectual esoteric
nonsense. I've got an eye for talent as
well and thats why I wanted to be
friends with him, that and he seemed to
think me knocking a balloon around with
my head was funny. In conclusion
Shannon is going to win awards for
making films plan snd simple, but it
will go beyond just the accolades.
in this world it would be Shanon. The
similarities between our characters
is uncanny. We are at times identical
in our goals and often conspiring
together, yet at other times, in clear
