About Me:
Seemingly new to these online profiles, I'll start with a
general description. I'm 5'9", 140 lbs with brown eyes and
hair. I've lived in New York City my entire life and don't
foresee leaving anytime soon - well, ok, so I left because of work and moved to New Haven...sue me! =) I still miss the city if that's any consolation and go back whenever I get the chance, which is fairly often. I'm currently a physician who just started my residency at Yale/New Haven in psychiatry.
Now onto more personal matters. Most importantly, the
motto which I try to live by is:
"It is better to look ahead and prepare...
than to look back and regret!"
I don't regret anything I've done in my life. All the
choices I have made have been mine, for better or for worse
and I have made the best of them. Not to say that I might
not have done things differently but I feel to look back
and perseverate about the past is futile because the
present will slip you by and the future will take you by
surprise.
The three most important things to me are my friends, my
family, and then my career. I come off as being shy at
first until you get to know me and I feel at ease with
you. After that point, I think all my friends can attest
to the fact that I'm a pleasure to be around. I make
people laugh, can hold a conversation on many-a-topics, but
am also one to enjoy the silent moments of life.

Who I Want to Meet:
What I'm looking for...well, first off I'll start with the
disclaimer that although I wish to pursue a career in
psychiatry, I do not wish to spend my time analyzing you. I
love to discover the nuances in everyone but don't wish to
play games with you. I value honestly above all else and
want people to be upfront with me. I would love someone
who can make me laugh, who can hold a conversation with me
(I warn you though...I'm shy at first), who knows how to be
serious but who can also be "stupid," who has ambitions in
life, but most importantly, who isn't afraid to be
himself...everything else falls secondary. Someone with motivation and personality!
