When Dan and I were really little, we used to watch episodes of Batman, starring Adam West and Burt Ward. We both agreed, at the time, that Burt Ward "looks like poo-poo," which I now retrospectively understand to mean that we thought he was hot. Even though Dan's my brother, which would make it icky if I were to vouch for him looking like poo-poo, I can say with complete confidence that he is, in fact, a superhero.
Dan has a ridiculously sexy mind. I think it may actually be a problem. Why aren't you dating him? Do it quick or I'll have to re-analyze everything....uh, too late. I'm officially confused.

Here goes: Dan created that "I wear
many hats" cliche.
He's a natural performer and evolves
into whatever he needs to be in a given
situation. Meanwhile, the real
Fishback is in a lab coat taking notes
with an eraserless pencil. He's SUCH
an Observer, and the cultivation of
this tendency has allowed him success
in many artistic, scholastic, and
social arenas. Dan is easy to
acquaint, but don't let a peek-a-boo of
vulnerability fool you, he has only a
few spots open in his inner circle of
people who KNOW him. I figured out
early that I probably would never get
to be one of those people but so
enjoyed the invitation beyond his
initial velvet rope. Fishback is a
stimulating place to be. I'm happy
that he's given himself VIP access.

made me a delicious pasta lunch in
his sunlit apartment one gorgeous
late winter afternoon and we got our
groove on, we got our Schwerv on,
and you-know-what-else, we took the
hottest pictures you will ever see in
your life. You will cream your pants
when you see them, and he will be
watching with mischievous glee. I
love Dan. It is true! He is a brilliant
songwriter and a charming individual
and fucking funny as hell and I am
really really glad we got to know each
other.

doesnt need to be talented (but he is).
He doesnt need to be clever (but he
is). He doesnt need to be a great
interpretive dancer (but oh baby, he is
lemme tell you). He does need to be
loved... and he is and we are all
totally proud of him. Gush. Gush.

with no rehearsal at all. And that
