Ed Ahern

As you might imagine, I'm the one on the left.

"I've never been good at describing myself. Ever. umm, well, I'm tall (6'3") and in relatively good shape. I'm a college..."

      • To start: Ditto everyone else's
testimonial. I just don't think there
is anything bad you can say about Ed.
First of all, his name is spelled E-D.
How freakin cool is that. To sum him up
        - he is utterly selfless. He is so
        compassionate, and such a wonderful
friend and person to all he meets. I've
known him for about a year now, and can
honestly say, he's hot. My roommate and
        friends swoon like teeniboppers when
he's on stage. ;) He's so talented in
all aspects of life, especially theatre
(which being a 3 time senior - we would
hope ;) ). But really, Ed is simply
wonderful, and such a blast, and always
there to lend a helping hand (with
anything.) I heart him like woah.

      • I can't believe I haven't added a
testimonial to Ed's page. The best
thing about Ed, in my opinion, is that
he never judges you on who you are one
day, but all the days he's known you
are taken into account. He's always
ready with an ear for listening, and
advice if you're ready, and none if
you're not. he's the first one to take
you on a date if you're lonely and just
got dumped (not like that's EVER
happened to me or anything like that, I
mean honestly, who would dump the
Bean??) I got sidetracked, and I
apologize. Ed has to be the best
person you will ever ever hope to meet
in your whole life. That's not all.
He even pays for dinner sometimes, even
though he's a college student, and
you're a working girl. so sweet! love
        Ed, just love him!

      • I'll never forget the first moment I
met Ed. It was at a Theater Guild
meeting and he jumped up and introduced
himself to the group. One flash of his
smile and I thought, "Wow, there is a
guy I would love to be friends with."
And I never thought it would happen.
But he's such an awesome guy that he
decided he could be friends with an
annoying twerp like me. The true bond
of our friendship resulted from our
Airplane pairing in Pippin, and the
fact that we were both petrified at the
        dancing auditions for the
aforementioned show. We have come a
long way since then, moving with
        gazelle-like grace across the stage.

      • AHERN!!!!!!

Ed. So much to say, very little room
to say it without seeming odd.
Ed was my first college stage
        crew/roadie/groupie. I'll never forget
our times in the Champagne room. Ed
will never graduate. Even if he has
graduated by the time he reads this,
it's all a farce. He will be taking
some sort of class for the remainer of
his years on this planet? Why you may
        ask?
Because someone has to, damn it. And
Ahern is just the tall wicked skinny
        funny goof for the job.
Ed Ahern. Coming to a college near you.

      • 1) Ed is spelled E-D. 2) There is no
such thing as a three-time Heisman
winner. Archie Griffin (Ohio St., 1974
& 1975) is the only person to win it
        twice.

      • I love that Ed lists his occupation
as "3-time college senior" the way
you'd say, like, "3-time winner of the
Heisman Trophy" (is that even a real
thing?). The fact is, Ed is wicked
old. But you'd never know it. You'd
think he was just tall. Anyway, I'll
never forget the first time I met Ed,
because the incident ended with us
both covered in peanut butter (it was
Jif - the brand that choosy moms
        supposedly choose). You might think
there's a long story involved, but
really it was your basic "hi, nice to
meet you. I'm going to smear some
peanut butter on your face now." Since
then, Ed and I have been ::gesturing:
like THIS. In the forest of my world,
Ed stands like a mighty Sequoia among
the birch saplings. And if you chopped
him down and counted the rings in his
trunk, you'd find that he's wicked
old. When all along you thought he was
        just tall.

      • I think Ed is the nicest person I've
met since I've been in college, and
one of the top five nicest people I've
ever met. He's also really smart and
fun to talk to and otherwise awesome,
so you know he's not just nice because
he has no other redeeming qualities.
Ed is great. And his name is easy to
spell (E-d), and that's another thing
        I like about Ed. Yay!

      • Ed is cool. And by cool I mean
totally sweet. This guy is like
friggin' Superman. I swear when I
first met him I thought his name was
Clark.. with a Kent at the end. You
get the idea. Ed is one helluva large
kid in Blood Brothers. If he was
        really seven-years-old, his size would
        make it sorta creepy.
