60's soul and r&b, crappy and good 60's pop, VU, Stooges, Beatles and Stones, Bob Dylan, crappy and good 80's music- Elvis Costello and The Smiths to Hall&Oates and Lionel Ritchie, 90's music- Sonic Youth, Pavement, The Pixies, Beck. That's pretty much it

mind. She is fun for the whole family -
she gossips with me, talks politics with
my husband and then blows milk bubbles
with my daughter. She is a traditional
girlie girl and a strong feminist woman.
She once chased a man who was trying to
steal my car down the street in
high-heeled boots. She once stopped a
fight in a pool hall between two drunken
macho strangers by calling herself the
n-word. She is the living end. She
made an amazing child and she is an
amazing mother to that amazing child.
My life has benefited exponentially from
knowing her. I love her.
