know some people just wanted to be
friends with me for my fame, or my
money, or to smell Gene, but not Nate.
Nate was genuine, y'know? I mean, sure,
he was always borrowing a $100 here, a
$1000 there, for coke, but he had that
habit way before I knew him.
If I could remember a single, sober
moment from those road trips, I'd
probably say they were the best times of
my life. It's a shame I can't; at least
I'll always have "Fear and Loathing in
Las Vegas" - I'll bet they were
something like that. Except I think
ours had more cars breaking down in
rural Pennsylvania.
I know the Army isn't the same without
me, but as long as the KISS Army has
Nate, then the KISS Army is the greatest
Army in the world. And the richest.
Rich with Nate.
minds that comes along once every
hundred, perhaps thousand years. I am
proud to say that through the outfit
known as the Merit Badges, I helped
him reinvent the genre known as rock
and roll. I did the easy part -
keeping a beat - while Nate did the
vital work - guitars, vocals, and of
course, uncompromising vision. The
result was nothing short of the
greatest music ever made, especially
when you're driving to a Dunkin'
Donuts that's already closed.
champ, and can still put on a
slavtastic show. yr a trooper Nate,
thanks for rockin my sox @ gooski's

and its based solely on our jackets.
In any event, Nate is one very nice
boy, and you can't compete with his
wit.
Your Friend." I thought to myself... "that's
probably true," but then realized that he's
family, and obviously not to be trusted. ;)
those people the "feather people". The
feather people blow gracefully into
your life like the feather in Forrest
Gump. You just sort of watch them
float down to earth in amazement and
let them rest on your shoulder when
they have no other place to go. You
know they'd do the same for anyone.
