It was my first day of school and I
was terrified. I remember walking out
to the playground for recess and
watching all the kids playing together
and having fun. I, however, couldn't
help but feel as if I didnt belong,
all around me where white little faces
and brown little faces. I didnt see

I felt all alone. I walked over to
the swings where I saw a cute little

flowing hair over and over
again. "what are you doing?" I
said "combing my hair 100 times, it
makes it pretty!! And now i have to
start all over cuz you made me lose
count!!" she looked over at me with
her chinky eyes..wait! chinky eyes?

intrigued. "Are you Asian little
girl?" "NO im not asian and I'm not a

and one day I'm gonna be a hair
