PATIENT? Well, one time, many moons ago,
James injured his knee and spent what
seemed like a month at our place. We fed
him (and if you've met James, you know
that's a full time job in itself), we entertained
him with wine and song (seriously, he
brought his guitar), and due to his injury I
even had the rare privilege of helping him in
and out of the shower. Now, if you've never
seen James Gomez wet and naked and
limping, then you just haven't lived my
friend. Seriously, who needs heaven when
you have images like that floating around
your mind at night?
me to my favorite cat - Pecos. He rescued me
from my salad days living in Los Angeles
without an air-conditioned apartment or
access to anything other than public
transportation (remember Johnny Mnemonic).
But, most important - he's a good sport, even
when an old blue haired waitress dropped an
entire plate of food all over him in San Diego.
Good thing he bought that t-shirt at the Pearl
Jam concert! It's never boring when James is
around!
