      • Happy birthday to my best friend from college. This kid's got it all: brains, acting skills, frisbee skills, numbchuck skills, bowhunting skills. And he's always around when you need him, even when he's in Oberlin. In short, you're my John Cusack. Now you have a good excuse for a new Halloween costume and rockin' everyday 80's hairstyle. You can thank me later, in only the way you know how ;-). All the best babe.

      • I think Aaron smells really nice. Like that fresh scent after a spring rain in a field... He's also rather talented -- he can act, he can sing, he can collapse on cue... girls love him, and guys love to hate him. Silhouettes... away!

      • You know, I could write all sorts of stuff about how much I love Mooch. First of all, he lets you call him Mooch. I mean, like, he answers and everything.
Anyway, Mooch and I spent a few years killing time on the Warner steps together, many many lifetimes ago, yet it seems like last week. So, this is my testimonial about Mooch:
This man is the shiz-nizzle. He's hilarious and witty, quick on his feet and frequently awesome.
It's been way too long since I've seen Mooch, which is a terrible shame. Maybe someday, if I eat all my veggies and pray real hard, he'll come visit me on the East Coast.
Really, Mooch, I'll eat any vegetable I have to, or non-vegetable item you want.

      • Mooch is to Oberlin what Bob Costas is to sports. His knowledge of obscure minutiae relating to endowments, trustee meetings and admissions policy astounds and enlightens. You can't help but be impressed and prehaps a little firghtened by his passion. He is also very short. But also like Bob Costas, I imagine he's going to end up with a hot wife.

      • this man will save your life- seriously. he
saved mine while i was on
hallucinogenic drugs and almost got in a
rumble. he flew in like that mad
protective hawk he is, saved us, and
moved on to swoop another day.... and
he will never, Ever leave oberlin. and if
he does, i'm never going back.

      • i wrote two articles for the oberlin
review as a fresh-girl. mooch was the
editor i think, and there was this guy
eben, a co-editor? anyways, my cross
country update and lacrosse expose were
obviously front page material, but they
were butchered and ran on page C43
        underneath an article revealing the
source of a strange smell in the rat.
        i never wrote again.
