i'm not very cool. i'm not really uncool. but i'm a renovated nerd. i
mean, when i was 11 i spent most of my time trying to walk and
read at the same time. this involved a lot of bumps to the head
when i'd walk into a basketball pole at recess. also, when boys
tried to talk to me i'd open my mouth like a fish under water, turn
red and i think i even might have turned and run once. i'm not as
bad as that anymore. i'm almost sad that i lost that 11 year old
awkward self.
i hate reggae. no, really. i hate it. partly because i just plain hate it,
but also? it makes me wnat to clean (maybe that means i should
play it more often). my mother always played bob marley on chore
day and now i'm doomed to experience this odd urge to rearrange
my room when i hear No WomanNo Cry. and man, that sucks.
i won't eat water chestnuts , i hate saliva on my nose, i have a
REALLY intense fear of those grates in the street and i won't walk
over them. but otherwise i'm mildly phobia free.
i sing The Piano Has Been Drinking like a muppet.
I'm into instant gratification . that's my weakness. and
procrastination. ations get me, it's true. i love karaoke and that surprised the hell out of
me ..i can't
sing but i can bellow quite well, I like
creepy clowns and vintage doll parts (parts. not wholes)
and
making things with said doll parts and wood and puffer fish
moons.
and i appreciate inappropriate senses of humor and
socializing
and dancing and reading and taking baths and eating and
drinking and kissing and going to shows and sleeping and
eating
and sleeping and self awareness and stupidity and
intelligence. I'm contrary and confused and clear as a
bell.
when i was 6 i was obsessed with the letter Q and made my
father
carve me one out of wood that i then proudly displayed in
my
room. it was like a crush i think. i had a lamb named
pennywiggles
at the same time, he's dead now. but his picture lives

twisted.smart.stupid.funny.perverse.sarcastic.good in the
right
ways , you know. in the heart area, etc. .wrong in
the right ways.self aware. intuitive. knowledge that
there are good principles and really dumb principles.high
brow.
low brow. a little cynical a little idealistic but not
jaded and not with completely unreasonable ideals. people
who
like obnoxious dogs. people who like the quiet me *and* the
full
force me - bonus points.
and people who don't mind that i occasionally babble
awkwardly
and confusedly before i get to my point. like now.
