      • Hi All,

Below is a summary of MAAP performance at the Subic 7s. Got o URL for the full
        article.

        http://www.rugbyinasia.com/feature/531/eagles-rule -the-roost

        Subic 7s Summary

“In the final pool game MAAP 1st team overran PNPA winning 21-0 to book their place in the plate final.
Nomads, fielding yet again a side more suited to the more physical 15 a-side game were industrious and after their early defeat at the hands of the Ibons, trounced both MAAP 2nd team and Manila Hapons.

The Hapons, with 17 year old Lester Loma from Cebu Dragons guesting on the wing, edged MAAP 2nds to ensure they would play PNPA in the bowl final, where in an exciting end to end game they prevailed 27-14.

Nomads, lacking as a team in the pace department, had far too much experience and cohesion for MAAP 1sts and they never looked in danger, finally running out 31-14 winners.”

        Cheers
        Erick

      • CONGRATULATIONS MAAP August 22 Rugby 7s series:

"M.A.A.P. John Michael Conde who had a superlative afternoon, scoring in all four games for the Academy"

"The ninth game on the schedule saw the two all Filipino teams pitched against each other. Short on finesse and technique it may have been, but there was no lack of commitment from every last man on the field. The edge in experience lay with the Maritime Academy and they used this to shade the game 15-5. We expect to see many more thrilling encounters between these two up and coming teams in the future."
