fightin the fight

livin n learnin. soul searching. traveling off the abused path and learning the unreadable from people, places, and life. bikes are an addiction. knowledge and the quest for it is, too. art and music are a lust i can't avoid. i pledge my allegiance to autonomy. emancipation. and constant revolution.

off the map. the dictionary. catcher in the rye. the grapes of wrath. fountainhead. pablo neruda, rainer maria rilke, hemingway and gabriel garcia marquez. anything that can teach me something, inspire me, challenge me, and make me remember why i believe in life and love.

just give me a beat. anything that makes me dance, shake my head, do mad air drums or just make me think. mixed tapes of love are hard to beat, and i love something new continuously

i love back.

at times, my faith in humanity is at such desolate lows (in that piece that still should be possible in having lovely like-minded caring folk about you that are capable of the basics in trust and love) and i find it hard to keep a smile going for lack of said real persons to help boost my spirit in one of endless ways. hope is hard to keep that way. i've recently returned from such a vision quest and i wonder why i had to go so far to find such indescribably amazing experiences with people. i know you are out there. these persons i am suppose to know and share fantastic amazing times with. so many of them... i just wish it were easier to find you - as that is all i ever want.
it seems so many people are afraid of being real - afraid of claiming themselves and anything else. what is this?
tis a crazy feeling to be swimming in a sea of acquaintances when all you want is for people to be badass. there is a lot of us i suppose. experience and time makes us timid, unsure of so many things including ourselves. scared.

we have to put ourselves out there, else what can we expect?
